Carbon fiber composites are difficult to process materials because of their high strength, large specific heat capacity, heat shock resistance, light weight, stable friction 

coefficient and excellent wear resistance. Due to the special structure and special physical and mechanical properties of carbon fiber composites, the following problems 

are often encountered in machining:

1) The machining tool wear is fast. If tungsten steel tool or high-speed steel tool is used for processing carbon fiber, it will wear fast and be processed with blunt tool, which

is easy to cause blank damage; During finish machining, the changes of tool size and shape seriously affect the shape and dimensional accuracy of products;

2) The materials fall and tear off in layers and blocks, which will scrap the processed parts in serious cases, affecting the yield and processing quality of the products.
