The size of cubic boron nitride particles has a great influence on the wear resistance and damage resistance of PCBN. In general, the smaller the particles 

of cubic boron nitride, the better the wear resistance of PCBN, the higher the compressive strength, but the difficulty of sintering. The larger the particle size, 

the stronger the resistance of the PCBN to mechanical wear and the weaker the resistance to breakage, the worse the sharpness of the cutting edge made with it.
